Department of Agriculture begins ad campaign featuring Florida seafood and produce

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has launched a new “Fresh From Florida” marketing campaign with ads across the state that feature fresh Florida seafood and produce.

The ads feature recipes including Florida Citrus and Honey Glazed Grouper and  Florida Gulf Shrimp and Sweet Pepper Stir Fry.

The recipes featured in the ads were developed by Chef Justin Timineri, Florida’s Culinary Ambassador.

The campaign is the first time the department will air statewide television commercials to promote the state’s fresh and healthy agriculture and aquaculture products and the “Fresh From Florida” brand.

The commercials were made in collaboration with the state’s farmers, growers, fishermen and seafood harvesters - the ads will air on major network and cable television stations in all of Florida’s 10 media markets.
