Three day visioning process planned for Apalachicola downtown

Historic Apalachicola Main Street along with DB Consulting will undertake an intensive three-day public process in April to develop a vision for the Apalachicola downtown.

The purpose is to identify and prioritize issues with the downtown area, and develop solutions. 

DB Consulting has over twenty years of experience working with communities like Apalachicola, Chattahoochee and Donaldson, Georgia to make their downtowns a more vibrant and thriving community center.

The local visioning process will include one-on-one interviews, focus groups, a public meeting and a live, electronic survey.

After the three-day community visioning process ends on April 20th, there will be a town hall where the consultants will share what they have learned from the community and their strategies for addressing public concerns. 

Main Street Apalachicola will then work with citizens and partner organizations to lead a community effort to implement the downtown vision.
