Franklin County Commission meets Tuesday in Carrabelle

The Franklin County commission will meet on Tuesday but not at their regular time or location.

The board will meet tomorrow at the Carrabelle Municipal Complex beginning at 10 AM.

The commission tries to meet in Carrabelle a few times every year to give more people a chance to attend their meetings.

The county does have a relatively full agenda that includes a conversation with the county property appraiser, and an update on the Eastpoint libraries progress in moving to a new building in Eastpoint.

The commission will also hear from the Tourist development council on small grants being awarded to local groups and consider recent decisions by its advisory board of adjustment.

Commissioners will also open qualifications from companies interested in providing engineering and design services for a bike path at Alligator Point.

Commission meetings are open to the public – so feel free to attend Tuesday’s meeting if you can.

Again it will be held at the Carrabelle Municipal Complex at 10 AM.
