Franklin County Commission meets Tuesday in Apalachicola

The Franklin county Commission will meet tomorrow in Apalachicola.

The commission has a very short agenda that includes opening bids for widening and resurfacing C.C. Land road in Eastpoint.

C.C. Land Road is an evacuation route from the county.

The county commission will also consider a recommendation from the county planning and zoning office to allow a commercial ice machine on the corner of Highway 98 and North Bayshore Drive in Eastpoint.

The only items on the agenda are the regular reports from county department heads and from Weems memorial Hospital.

County Commission meetings are open to the public – tomorrow’s meeting begins at 9 AM at the Franklin county courthouse annex in Apalachicola.
