Governor Rick Scott Appoints Members to
Judicial Nominating Commissions
Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the following appointments to Judicial Nominating Commissions:
First District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission
Timothy M. Cerio, 43, of Tallahassee, is an attorney and shareholder with Gray Robinson, P.A. Previously, Cerio served as General Counsel and Chief of Staff for the Florida Department of Health. He received his bachelor’s and law degree from the University of Florida. Cerio is a member of the University of Florida Alumni Association, Board of Directors and the University of Florida, College of Law Alumni Board of Trustees. He fills a vacancy and has been appointed from the list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar for a term beginning June 14, 2013, and ending
July 1, 2014.
Second Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission
Chasity Hope O’Steen, 37, of Tallahassee, is an attorney with Sniffen & Spellman, P.A. O’Steen is board certified by the Bar as a City, County, and Local Government Lawyer. She received her bachelor’s and law degree from Florida State University. O’Steen succeeds Clark Jennings, and has been appointed from the list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar for a term beginning June 14, 2013, and ending July 1, 2015.
