Florida unveils website to help home energy conservation

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has launched a new interactive website to help homeowners find ways to conserve energy.

myfloridahomeenergy.com was built to provide Florida homeowners with a user-friendly way to analyze their current energy use and identify energy-efficient products and services that will potentially reduce their utility bills.

The interactive website helps determine potential energy-efficient products, as well as improvements or modifications that may be beneficial to consumers.

It also identifies home energy audits including free utility company audits and fee-based professional audits.

It can tell you about local, state and federal financial incentives related to energy efficiency upgrades and even project financing options.

The website again is http://www.myfloridahomeenergy.com.
