The Franklin County Dixie Youth debs softball team
has won a state title and now hope to follow it up with a win at the World
Series in August.
The
Debs, which are local 17 to 19 year olds, took the state title with a 6
to 2
win over West
Pasco
on Monday.
The
girls went undefeated in 4 games at the state tournament in Brooksville and
even won the best sportsmanship trophy.
Now
the girls have the opportunity to play in the World Series, which is scheduled
for August 2nd through the 7th in Alexandria , Louisiana
