Army Staff Sergeant Justin R. Johnson of Hobe Sound, Florida, died on June 18, 2013, in Parwan Province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Staff Sergeant Justin R. Johnson was assigned to the 359^th Transportation Company, 10^th Transportation Battalion, 7^th Sustainment Brigade, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.   

By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution of the State of Florida and the laws of the United States, I, Governor Rick Scott, hereby proclaim and direct as follows:

1.      All National and State flags shall be flown at half-staff at the County Courthouse of Martin County, Florida, and the City Hall of Hobe Sound, Florida, on Saturday, July 6, 2013, in honor of Staff Sergeant Justin R. Johnson.

2. The National and State flags at the Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida, shall also be flown at half-staff on Saturday, July, 6, 2013, in honor of Staff Sergeant Justin R. Johnson.
