There is still time to enter public comments in Senate Committee hearing record

There is still an opportunity to enter comments into the public record from last week’s US Senate Committee hearing in Apalachicola.

The hearing focused on freshwater flows into the Apalachicola River and Bay but only a limited number of groups were able to speak at the hearing.

Public comments will be accepted by e-mail through August 23.

As long as the e-mail is received by the end of the day on Friday your comments will be included as an official part of the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation hearing record.

So if you would like address how the lack of fresh water flowing down river has negatively impacted your business and our community’s economy – you should make your concerns known.

The e-mail addresses for your comments are posted on this story at Oysterradio.com and on the Oyster Radio facebook page.
