Road work causes some detours in Calhoun County

            If you travel in Calhoun County often, the Department of Transportation wants you to know there has been a Traffic pattern change on State Road 20 in Calhoun County.

Both eastbound and westbound traffic on State Road 20 between Blountstown and Bristol has been switched to the eastbound bridge over the Apalachicola River.

Crews are performing maintenance work on the westbound bound bridge. 

The project is scheduled for completion in early 2014.

Drivers are reminded to use caution.
