Time is running out to sign up for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act

There is less than a week left to sign up for health insurance under the affordable care act.

The deadline is Monday, March 31st, after that you have to wait for the next open enrollment period which begins in November.

There are a number of ways to get signed up – you can go on-line to healthcare.gov.

Or you can get help locally to get registered.

Weems memorial Hospital will provide assistance today from 9 till noon at the hospital and from 1 till 4 at the Weems Medical center East Clinic in Carrabelle.

They will also provide assistance on Thursday from 9 till 3 at the Hospital in Apalachicola.

The Public library in Eastpoint is also providing assistance on Thursday from 10 till 1 and 2 until 6.
