Work nearly complete on Carrabelle beach bike path

Work is nearly complete on the new multi-use path connecting Carrabelle beach to the Carrabelle lighthouse.

Work began on the path last November.

                           

Once complete, the path will allow people to safely walk or bike between the beach and the lighthouse.

The work is being done by North Florida Construction – the company still has to install about 100 feet of guardrail at the western end of the project

.

North Florida Construction is being paid just over 300 thousand dollars for their work.
