Resurfacing work begins this week on state Road 22

Resurfacing work on State Road 22 between the Bay County line and the Wetappo Creek Bridge in Gulf County will begin today.  

The project also includes minor drainage improvements, new guardrail, signage and pavement markings. 

Construction on the 1.5 million dollar project is expected to be complete this winter.

The work will impact drivers.

Drivers can expect alternating daytime lane closures in the north and southbound lanes.
