Crawfordville bicyclist hospitalized after being hit by truck

A 46-year old Crawfordville man was hospitalized with serious injuries, after getting hit by a pick-up truck Monday evening.

The Highway Patrol said Donnald Bracci was riding his bicycle on the shoulder of state road 30, when a Ford F-150 hit him from behind.

The truck was driven by 21 year old James Cantrell Jr. of Sopchoppy.

Mr. Bracci was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

The Highway Patrol says charges are pending further investigation.
