Advertise in the Forgotten Coast Visitors Guide
We are producing the 2015 Official Visitors Guide to promote businesses in our area. This is a professionally produced glossy full-color guide that includes area maps, professional photographs, brief histories of the area, things to do, dining, places to stay, shopping, places to see and relocation information. This publication is mailed to anyone requesting visitor and relocation information. Also it is given to walk-in visitors, included in presskits and distributed throughout the county at member businesses. The guide is also available as a downloadable PDF on our website atwww.apalachicolabay.org. We will print appox. 20,000 copies of the guide. Advertisers will receive copies for their own distribution. Owned by Lynn Wilson On th Waterfront is home to one of the finest art galleries on the Forgotten Coast. Where beautiful landscapes of the waterfront & boats are shown in multi-media. As well as gifts of jewels, silver and glass are shown. It is also home to the collection of Forgotten Coast Plein Air Master Artist and Artist of Apalachicola Area (AAA)

Apalachicola Christmas Celebration

The Friday after Thanksgiving, November 28ththe streets of Apalachicola will be lined with luminaries and filled with holiday spirit. Merchants will be open late and the sounds of carolers will echo through the streets filling the evening with the Christmas spirit. Santa will arrive on a shrimp boat at 4:00 p.m. at the City Dock on Water Street. Saturday, November 29 th 1:00-3:30 pm Santa has a special day devoted to visiting his furry friends. There will be a pet costume contest at 3:00 and special treats for dogs. For more

Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce Holiday Putt Putt Golf Tournament

Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
Hosted by Red Pirate Family Bar and Grill, Eastpoint,Fl

The Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce is excited to invite you to attend and participate in the Holiday Putt Putt Golf Tournament.
Entry Fee is $50.00 for each two person team.


Team fees may be paid in advance at the Chamber Office or may be paid during on-site registration from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.

Trophies will be awarded for best  1st, 2nd, and  3rd place team scores and a Hot Shot trophy will be awarded to the person with the most "holes in one" .


Sponsorship Opportunities:
$100.00 per hole.  This includes entry for 1 team and sponsor sign at one of the 18 holes.


$200.00 "Your Name" Hot Shot Trophy.  This includes entry for 1 team, award naming privilege.

November 28th & 29th

The Apalachicola Area Historical Society will celebrate the holidays, this year with a Festival of Trees to be held at the Raney House Museum, 128 Market Street in Apalachicola.

In addition to decorating the house in bright holiday fashion, the historical society has asked 15 local artists and organizations to decorate "everlasting tabletop trees" to be sold in a silent auction at the Raney House Thanksgiving weekend to raise funds for the society. There will be an opening bid and a buy it now price for each tree.

The Raney House will be open with the trees on display all dayFriday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29.

On Saturday, the festivities will be capped off with a champagne reception, at 6:30 p.m., where the winners of the auction will be announced.

Artists and organizations that have already agreed to decorate a tree include the Bowery Gallery, Butch Rowell owner of "Outside", designer Barb Ward and the Tin Shed.

Everyone is welcome. Come and take a chance on taking home a holiday treasure.
