Bay county man arrested in Wakulla County for firing into occupied vehicle

A 25-year-old Panama City man wanted for shooting into an occupied vehicle in Panama City was arrested in Wakulla County on Friday.

Chandler Dewayne Morehead was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office at a home on Pawnee Trail in Crawfordville.

Morehead was taken into custody without incident.

Morehead was wanted in Panama City for shooting into an occupied vehicle; possession of a firearm by a felon; possession of ammunition by a felon; and aggravated assault.

The warrants stem from a Nov. 5 incident where Morehead shot at a victim inside his vehicle.

Morehead is being held in the Wakulla County Jail on the Panama City Police Department warrants in Bay County.
