A 25-year-old Panama City man was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, Nov. 7.
Law enforcement received information that Chandler Dewayne Morehead was at a home on Pawnee Trail in Crawfordville. Morehead was taken into custody without incident.
Morehead was wanted in Panama City for shooting into an occupied vehicle; possession of a firearm by a felon; possession of ammunition by a felon; and aggravated assault. The warrants stem from a Nov. 5 incident where Morehead shot at a victim inside his vehicle.
Morehead is being held in the Wakulla County Jail on the Panama City Police Department warrants in Bay County.
