22A in Wewahitchka to get state money for improvements

The state is providing 9 million dollars to help improve 20 rural roads across the state – and one of those roads is in Wewahitchka.

About 63 thousand dollars will be spent to repair old Highway 22 A in Wewahitchka.

The funding is part of the Small County Outreach Program which the Department of Transportation has used to support Florida’s economically challenged rural counties for many years.

In total over 1and a half million dollars will be spent on 7 roads across Northwest Florida.
