Certified Local Government Program workshop scheduled for Tuesday in Apalachicola

Michael Zimny will be in Apalachicola to facilitate a workshop on the benefits of a Certified Local Government Program designation.
Mr. Zimny is the Director of the Program which is a division of the Bureau of Historic Preservation.

The workshop will be held at;
The Apalachicola Community Center, 1 Bay Avenue Apalachicola, Florida 32320
Tuesday, 13 January at 6 PM

The Certified Local Government (CLG) program links three levels of government-  federal, state and local into a preservation partnership for the identification, evaluation and protection of historic properties and communities. Designation as a certified local government makes historic preservation a public policy through passage of a historic preservation ordinance.
