FSUCML January 8th Lecture - We Are Water by Explorer Jill Heinerth

The Florida State University Coastal & Marine Lab Conservation Lecture Series
WE ARE WATER
A Presentation by Explorer
JILL HEINERTH
While wars today focus on declining oil resources, those of the future will certainly relate to water, pitting thirsty industries, farms, and municipalities against each other as they vie  for rights to use the diminishing clean water in our streams, rivers, lakes, and bays. Understanding our physical and spiritual connection to water as well as the fragile nature of our planet's water resources forms the foundation of the presentation, We are Water.  The storytold by Jill Heinerth with a combination of photographs and video clips from her astounding body of work, is imaginative, entertaining, and enlightening, illustrating the tenuous relationship between our planet's endangered fresh water resources, and the ever increasing needs of an expanding global population.
