19 arrested in county-wide drug sweep

19 people across the county were arrested on drug charges in a major drug sweep on Monday.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit along with numerous Sheriff Deputies and the Carrabelle Police Department executed several arrest warrants in the Carrabelle, Eastpoint, Apalachicola and Lanark Village areas of the County.

19 individuals, including one juvenile, were arrested on numerous drug charges.

The majority of the charges stemmed from selling illegal drugs including Methamphetamine, Cannabis, Cocaine or Prescription medications.
