DRUG SEARCH WARRANT EXECUTED IN PORT ST. JOE





Gulf County Sheriff Mike Harrison announces the arrest of Lottie G. Yarrell (59) of 104 Martin Luther King Blvd in Port St. Joe. Investigators and Deputies executed a search warrant on the morning of March 26, 2015, after a lengthy investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics at the residence.
Yarrell was arrested on eight (8) warrants for the Sale of Crack Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of a Church and one (1) warrant for Principle to the Sale of Crack Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of a Church. In addition to the warrants served, Yarrell faces an additional charge of Possession of Crack Cocaine as a result of the search warrant. Kendrick J. Byrd (32), a co-defendant in four of the cases and who was incarcerated at the Gulf County Detention Facility on unrelated charges, was arrested on six (6) warrants for the Sale of Crack Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of a Church.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and the Port St. Joe Police Department assisted in the execution of the search warrant. The search yielded crack cocaine and approximately one ounce of powder cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia. Yarrell was transported and turned over to officers at the Gulf County Detention Facility.
