Red Tide seen in low concentrations in Gulf and Bay counties

Karenia brevis, the Florida red tide organism, was found in background concentrations in one sample collected alongshore of Charlotte County, one sample collected  alongshore of Okaloosa County, one sample collected inshore of Bay County, and one sample collected inshore of Gulf County.  Additional samples collected throughout Florida this week did not contain red tide.
