The Apalachicola National
Estuarine Research Reserve’s Coastal Training Program will host a rain barrel
workshop on Saturday, February 11th.
During the three hour workshop you’ll build a 55
gallon rain barrel to collect and store rainwater and find out about other
Green Infrastructure technology like rain gardens, green roofs, and bio-swales.
It’s the 7th time the reserve has held
the rainbarrel workshop with the help of the Coca Cola Company.
It costs 20 dollars for every barrel you make –
there is a limit of two barrels.
