City Hosts Quasi-Judicial Planning Workshop April 28 The City of Apalachicola will host a joint workshop at 6 pm Tuesday, April 28 with the City Commission, Planning & Zoning Board and Board of Adjustment to discuss the issue of Quasi-Judicial Hearings. The workshop will be held at the City Community Center located at Battery Park. The workshop will be led by Apalachicola City Attorney Pat Floyd. The topic of quasi-judicial hearing first came up last fall during discussions surrounding a proposed Family Dollar Store development on Highway 98. The discussion surfaced again during the City’s April Planning and Zoning meeting in which developers presented plans for a proposed CVS store at the corner of Highway 98 and 7th Street.
