Laundry Project is coming to Port St. Joe in May

The Laundry Project is coming to Gulf County in May and volunteers are needed to help with the program.
The Laundry Project was started in Tampa as a way to help struggling families meet a basic need - Washing clothes and linens.
For the people served by the Laundry Projects, washing clothes is a financial burden.
As a result, they may be unable to do their laundry as frequently as they would like.
In 2013, the Laundry Project held events in 29 locations and helped 1,200 families wash 12,250 loads of laundry.
This year they have teamed up with the realtors association of Franklin and Gulf counties to help area residents.
A successful laundry project event was held in Apalachicola in February and now plans are being made to hold a second event at the Laundry Basket in Port St. Joe on May the 16th.
If you would be willing to help, you can email Gloria@rafgc.com.

You can also donate to the cause at the realtors association website at rafgc.com.
