RE:                  Flags at Half-Staff - Day of Remembrance for President Abraham Lincoln

            Pursuant to the President’s Proclamation, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 has been proclaimed as a Day of Remembrance for President Abraham Lincoln.  As such, all Floridians are encouraged to honor President Lincoln’s life and legacy with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities. 

In honor of the remembrance of President Abraham Lincoln, I hereby direct the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at all local, state, and federal buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the State of Florida.  The flags shall be lowered immediately and remain at half-staff until sunset today, Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
