Crawfordville, Florida – The newly revised County Procurement Ordinance #15-02 allows for an active vendors list. The vendors list will be maintained by the County for the purpose of competitive procurements.
Typically, the County will make announcements seeking bidders in the local newspaper; however, this new tool will now allow the County to notify the vendors directly of opportunities to bid on specific projects. “We are excited about this new initiative and anticipate identifying resources to efficiently access service providers to meet our needs,” said David Edwards, County Administrator.
Vendors can apply to be on the active Vendors List by visiting the County website at www.mywakulla.com (County Procurement section). It’s important for the vendor to provide their trade/specialty to ensure it’s placed on the vendors list for a particular category of products or services.
