Time is running out to apply for the Franklin County
Residential Construction Mitigation Program.
The
program is designed to help Franklin County Residents who meet the income
requirements to mitigate their homes against strong winds.
The
program can help pay for the installation of hurricane resistant windows, doors
and shutters as well as repair roofs or add straps to existing roofs.
The
program is open to Franklin County households with incomes at 120 percent of
the area median and below.

The
deadline for submitting application is June 1st.
