WCHS Program, Tuesday, May 12, 7:00 PM, Wakulla County Library

John Y. Roberts is the featured speaker for the Historical Society’s final program of the 2014-2015 season on
Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00 PM at the Public Library. John, who submits monthly "Red Clay Footprints" articles to the Wakulla News, is a retired Special Agent, U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), as well as a direct descendant of four keepers of the St. Marks Lighthouse, and best of all, a member of the Wakulla County Historical Society.  Because of the popularity of the television program, "NCIS," John will provide a brief overview of that organization and follow up with the history of the St. Marks lighthouse and current efforts underway to restore it to its former glory.

We appreciate all that John does for WCHS.  All of you who read Red Clay Footprints in The Wakulla News know that John has so many wonderful stories to tell and he really has a way with words.  Please come out and join us for this last program before our summer break.

Historical Society programs resume on the second Tuesday in September. The Wakulla County Historical Society Museum & Archives at 24 High Drive in Crawfordville is currently under renovations and will remain closed until around the end of May.
