County Commissioners are reminding
vendors who operate on public property on St. George Island that they cannot
leave their trailers parked on public property overnight.
The county provides a very
limited number of permits to businesses that want to operate near the public
beach on St. George Island and Carrabelle Beach.
Part of the agreement is that
the vendor takes his or her trailer off public property when they close for business.
Commissioner Pinki Jackel said
this has not been happening.
The trailers are being left
parked overnight and she would like the problem addressed.
She asked that the county attorney
send letters to all of the vendors reminding them of their agreement with the
county.
