The
Winter oyster harvesting season in the Apalachicola Bay begins Tuesday.
The Winter season continues through May
31st.
During the winter season, commercial
and recreational oyster harvesting will be allowed Monday through Thursday.
Commercial oyster harvesters will only
be allowed to four bags of oysters per person per day.
Recreational harvesters will only be
allowed a half bag per person.
Oystermen can harvest from East hole only on
Mondays; all other days oyster harvesting is prohibited there.
