SBA seeks nominations for small business awards

The U.S. Small Business Administration is seeking nominations for the 2015 North Florida Small Business Person of the Year and several other small business awards. 

Any individual who owns and operates a small business may be nominated.

SBA will accept nominations through January the 11th.

There are a number of categories open for submissions including Small Business Exporter of the Year, Minority Business Owner of the Year, Woman Business Owner of the Year and Small Business Media Advocate.

Statewide winners of the Small Business Person of the Year and the Small Business Exporter of the Year awards will also be eligible to compete for their respective titles nationally.

National award winners will be announced during National Small Business Week in May of 2016.
