An
Apalachicola man and a young girl were found dead in the Apalachicola national
forest on Tuesday.
Alvin Glenn
Martina and Kaitlyn Noel Guillotte had been missing since January the 22nd
after they drove into the forest looking for firewood.
They were
reported missing on Sunday.
A search was
conducted by the National Forest Service, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission,
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, and Local
Aviation Pilots as well as local residents and family members.
Sheriff’s
deputies found Glenn and Kaitlyn Tuesday inside their white Jeep Wrangler.
Both were
deceased.
The sheriff’s
office says no evidence of foul play was discovered however the investigation
is ongoing.
