Water Service Interruption scheduled for Cape San Blas

Water Service Interruption

Lighthouse Utilities Company, Inc. water customers will have a service interruption beginning at 8 am ET January 11, 2016 for water main maintenance near Boardwalk Avenue on Cape San Blas. 
The outage expected to last 4-6 hours, will affect all customers on County Road 30A from 6102 thru 6335 and all customers on State Road 30E from 240 thru 2251.
Once service has been restored, customers affected by the interruption will be under a precautionary boil water notice until lab samples are tested. Residents are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for one full minute before using for drinking, cooking or brushing teeth or use bottled water until further notice.
The water will be field tested immediately after the repair is complete and samples collected and sent to the lab. This process will take 3-4 days and customers will be notified as soon as the precautionary boil water notice has been rescinded.
