Franklin county Health Department providing Tdap vaccines to local 6th graders

If you have a child in the 6th grade, don’t forget he needs a tetanus booster before entering the 7th grade.
Florida law requires that all students entering 7th grade receive a Tdap vaccine.
The local health department will help.
The Florida Department of Health in Franklin County will be onsite at the Franklin County School and ABC School on March 7th to provide the tetanus booster as well as other age appropriate recommended vaccines.
All Franklin County 6th grade parents should receive a letter and consent form in the mail.
If you do not receive one, please contact your school nurse.
If you would prefer to bring your child into the clinic at the Florida Department of Health in Franklin County please call 653-2111 to schedule an appointment.
