Concealed Weapon License Applicants Can Now Schedule Appointments Online

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.–Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam today announced that in his continued effort to make applying for a concealed weapon license as convenient as possible, online appointment scheduling is now available. Visit FreshFromFlorida.com/cw to schedule appointments at one of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ eight regional offices located in: Fort Walton, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Orlando, North Port, Tampa, West Palm Beach and Doral.

“This new online scheduling feature will make applying for a concealed weapon license even more convenient,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam.

The new scheduling feature is only available to those seeking their initial concealed weapon license. Consumers can still apply for a concealed weapon license via mail, but a scheduled appointment is required before applying in-office.

To access the scheduling feature, visit FreshFromFlorida.com/cw, and click on the nearest regional office. The site will redirect to an informational page providing details including office location, hours of operation, and the scheduling calendar. After selecting a date, available time slots are displayed, followed by a page to input contact information. Once the appointment is confirmed, a reminder will be sent 48 hours prior to the appointment via phone call, text or email based on preference.
