Authorities Searching For Missing Wakulla County Man

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Wakulla County man on Saturday, April 9. He was reported missing at 8 a.m.
The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Kenneth Eugene Haughton, 76, of Crawfordville. Haughton is a white male, 5-11 and 220 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a plaid shirt and a Florida State University hat.
He is believed to have left the area in a 2012 Nissan Versa, Tag Number ASNX64. He is missing from 67 Catawba Trail in Crawfordville. He may be headed to Cross City, FL. Mr. Haughton suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.
Anyone with information about the missing man is asked to contact the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 745-7100.
Mr. Haughton left home unannounced on March 21 but WCSO deputies were able to locate him a short time later at an address in Sopchoppy.
