The Florida Department of Transportation will hold a public
information meeting this afternoon to talk about proposed improvements to Highway
98 over Saint Joe Bay Inlet Bridge in Gulf County.
DOT plans
to replace the existing bridge with a new concrete structure.
They
expect to take bids for construction in the summer of 2019.
There
will be no formal presentation at the meeting, but DOT workers will be
available to discuss the project and answer questions.
There
will also be maps, drawings, and other information on display.
The public
information meeting will be Thursday, April 28 from 5:30 p.m. to
6:30 p.m. at the Gulf County Senior Center in Port Saint Joe.
