'Southern Fried Funeral' ignites family feud at the Dixie

In the small Mississippi town of New Edinburgh, Dewey Frye is dead and the rest of his family is left to pick up the pieces -- that is if they don't kill each other first. Southern Fried Funeral is the final production of the Panhandle Players' season, set for Friday and Saturday, April 15 and 16, at the Dixie Theatre in Apalachicola. Doors open at 7:00 pm, curtain is at 7:30 pm
Funerals bring out the worst, the best, and the funniest in people, and the Fryes are no exception. Southern Fried Funeral is a big-hearted comedy about family -- Southern-style.

Tickets are going fast for the two-nights only performances. Previous Panhandle Players performances have sold out quickly, so get your tickets as soon as possible before they are gone. Tickets are $15 and are available at: Downtown Books, Apalachicola; Sometimes It's Hotter on St. George Island, Butler Agency, Eastpoint; Carrabelle Junction, Carrabelle; and No Name Cafe, Port St. Joe.
