U.S. 98 Saint Joe Bay Inlet Bridge Public Meeting Scheduled

Chipley – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a public information meeting concerning proposed improvements to State Road (S.R.) 30 (U.S. 98) over Saint Joe Bay Inlet Bridge in Gulf County.  The meeting will be Thursday, April 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. EDT at the Gulf County Senior Center, 120 Library Drive, Port Saint Joe.

The intent of this project is to replace the existing bridge on S.R. 30 (U.S. 98) over Saint Joe Bay Inlet with a new concrete structure.  Additional right-of-way and temporary construction easements may be required for construction of the proposed bridge.  Bids for construction are scheduled to be received summer 2019.

Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display.  There will be no formal presentation; however, representatives from FDOT will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.

Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.  Persons who require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act or persons who require translation services (free of charge) should contact FDOT General Consultant Project Manager, Eric Saggars, P.E., at (850) 415-9010 or via email atesaggars@hntb.com at least seven days prior to the meeting.
