The Franklin County
Seahawks softball team was knocked out of the state class 1-a tournament with a
loss on Thursday, but they went down swinging.
The Seahawks lost to Chiefland in the 13th inning
when Chiefland went on a hitting spree and knocked through 6 runs.
The final score was 12 to 6.
Chiefland will now move on to face Wewahitchka in the state championship
this afternoon.
