Postal workers nationwide to take part in food drive on Saturday

Local postal workers are holding a canned food drive on Saturday.
This is the 24th year of the Letter Carrier’s Stamp Out Hunger national food drive - its the largest one-day food-collection event in the nation.
It has delivered more than a billion pounds of food in the past 23 years.
And its real easy to take part.
If you get home mail delivery you can donate food very easily by putting donations of canned food into bags and leaving them in your mailbox.

The post office has already sent out bags for you to use.

Those donations will be picked up by your mail carrier.

If you get your mail at the Post Office, you can take your donations to the post office on Saturday morning.

All of the food will be given to local food banks.
