A
2 year old boy from Apalachicola died early Sunday morning after he was hit by
a car on Bluff Road.
The Highway patrol said Korbin
Bray of Apalachicola was sitting or lying in the westbound lane of Bluff Road,
just west of Timberwood Court, at 1:30 Sunday morning when he was struck by a 2014
Nissan driven by 19 year old Katelyn Able, also of Apalachicola.
That section of road is not well
lit.
The highway patrol is
investigating why the child was in the road and whether alcohol played a role
in the accident.
Charges are pending the result of
the investigation.
