GCSC to host Jumpstart event for prospective students Saturday, July 9

Are you ready to jumpstart your college career?

Panama City, FL ­– Gulf Coast State College is holding a Jumpstart event for prospective students who are interested in enrolling for the Fall 2016 semester. Advisors and financial aid experts will be available to work one-on-one with future students to guide them through the enrollment process. Veteran Services will also be available to provide assistance to those who have served in the military. Fall classes are open to everyone whether you are a recent high school graduate or even if it’s been a while since you’ve been in a classroom. We’re here to make the transition a smooth one. The event will be held on Saturday, July 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Advanced Technology Center.

Attendees can also tour the ATC, enjoy pizza and refreshments and will have a chance to win a PlayStation 4.

To save time, prospective students can apply online at www.gulfcoast.edu/admissions. Transcripts and a driver’s license are required the day of the event, and students will be helped on a first come, first served basis.
