City of Apalachicola under precautionary boil water notice

A boil water notice has been issued for the City of Apalachicola.

The boil water notice affects water customers throughout the city.

The boil water notice was issued after a water main broke Tuesday morning.

The water main has been fully repaired, but as a precautionary measure, customer are advised to boil your water for one (1) full minute at a rolling boil before consumption, this includes but is not limited to uses for drinking and cooking purposes.

This notice will be in effect until water samples are tested to insure the water is safe to drink.
