Franklin
County commissioners will swear in their new and newly re-elected
members when the board meets on Tuesday.
County
judge Van Russell will officially swear in Ricky Jones who now
represents District 1, as well as Noah Lockley who was re-elected to
represent District 3.
Commissioner
William Massey who represents District 5 will also take part; he ran
unopposed in his re-election bid this year.
Other
than that, the board has a very short agenda that includes opening
bids for phase 2 of the renovation of the Fort Coombs Armory.
Phase
2 work includes foundation and floor issues, continued window
renovations and work to make the armory more handicapped accessible.
You
can see the full agenda posted on-line at oysterradio.com and on the
Oyster Radio facebook page.
The
county commission meeting is open to the public, so if you would like
to attend – it will begin at 9 tomorrow morning at the Franklin
