Florida's red snapper recreational fishing season ends on July the 21^st.

The 40 day season began on June the 11^th.

The closure is for Anglers fishing from private recreational boats and For-hire operations that do not have a federal reef fish permit .

Charter boats with a federal permit will see their season end on July 22^nd.
