Liberty County Sheriff's deputies now have tasers thanks to the Florida Highway patrol

Liberty County Sheriff's deputies now have tasers thanks to the Florida Highway patrol.

On August 23^rd the Florida Highway Patrol presented Liberty County Sheriff Eddie Joe White with 15TASERS, taser holsters, and spare cartridges.

Had the agency had to purchase the TASERS themselves, the cost would have been more than $800.00 each.

The donation saved Liberty County taxpayers over $ 12,000.

This effort not only provides another layer of safety for the deputies and officers but continues to strengthen the working relationship between the Highway Patrol and other law enforcement agencies.
