The
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is hosting a Deer
Manager 101 course for private landowners in five Northwest Florida
counties.
The
course is offered by the FWC’s Landowner
Assistance Program and will
be held on August 30th
at the Wakulla Environmental Institute in Crawfordville.
Private
landowners from Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty and Wakulla
counties are invited to learn about mapping their property, deer
biology, deer habitat management and aging deer.
Participants also will have an opportunity to meet local FWC law enforcement officers to learn about the services that the officers provide.
You
must pre-register by August 24th.

Again
the class will be held on Thursday, August 30th, from 9
a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wakulla Environmental Institute, 170
Preservation Way, Crawfordville.
